CMD Sri S.K.Upadhyay,IPS congratulated all staff of the Corporation who have been nominated to receive commendations on the 38th Raising Day i:e 24.5.2017. While appreciating the contribution of the staff who are being felicitated,CMD also acknowledged overall contributions of entire staff towards growth of the Corporation in 2016-17 who had given their helping hands in converting the Silver Rated PSU towards Golden Rated PSU. Latest designed Elevator was dedicated to Staff Qtrs.at Rasulgarh on 8.5.2017 by CMD,Chief Engineer,Company Secretary,JM(Electrical) & JM,Bhubaneswar Division.

Foundation stone was laid on 6.5.2017 for Anandapur Court building by Hon'ble Judges of Orissa High Court. OPHWC has been mandated to complete Court building for A/A amount of Rs.7.20 crores.

132nd Board Meeting of OSPH&WC was held on 2.5.2017. Board of Directors Sri A.K.Tripathy,IAS, Sri K.B.Singh,IPS, Sri A.K.Ray,IPS,Sri R.N.Das,Joint Secretary,Finance Department, Sri Pravakar Pradhan,IAS, Addl.Secretary,P.E. Department,Sri Debraj Biswal,Sri P.V.Rao and Sri Dronadeb Rath attended the meeting and participated in fruitful deliberations for future development of the Corporation. Sri S.K.Upadhyay,IPS,CMD,OSPH&WC presided over the meeting and presented facts about overall achievement of the Corporation in F/Y 2016-17 and stated that the parameters prescribed by MoU had been fulfilled in maximum categories. The Budget for 2017-18 was presented to the Board. The Board appreciated the overall positive achievement of the Corporation in 2016-17. Chief Engineer Sri A.K.Panigrahi and Company Secretary Sri S.K.Panda assisted CMD during the Board Meeting.
