Perspective Plan for various Users of Home Department was discussed with Senior Officers of the Corporation on 25.4.2017. Relevant information were approved for submission to Users and Home Department for upcoming review meeting in Home Department. CMD presided over the meeting which was attended by Financial Advisor,Superintending Engineer and APM(Monitoring). Perspective turnover for 2017-18 was fixed for Rs.360 Crores.

CMD inspected Sambalpur Divisions office on 21.4.17 and visited sites of some ongoing Projects of Sambalpur Divisions on 22.4.17. Earlier, CMD visited some ongoing sites of Kandhemal district on 15th & 16th April,2017.
Chief Engineer visited sites of ongoing projects of Dhenkanal,Berhampur,Kalahandi divisions from 17.4.17 to 20.4.17.
Review meeting was held on 17.4.17 between OPH&WC and Director, SC Welfare to take stock of all ongoing projects of Directorate of SC Welfare.
OPHWC donated Rs.5 lakhs to Odisha Police to organise "KARUNA" camp to provide succour to the cyclone affected persons in the worst affected areas of Ganjam District in partnership with Odisha Police. On an average cooked food is being provided to 6000 perople highly affected by Cyclone "Phailin".
Sri Satyajit Mohanty,IPS,CMD,OPHWC visited Ganjam District to access the damages to buildings of the user Departments. In course of his visit he covered 8th Bn.Chhatrapur,DPO & RO,Chhatrapur,Berhampur Circle Jail,Fire Station,Berhampur. CMD announced relief measures for the affected employees of Police ,Prison and Fire Departments who have been rendering outstanding services to the cyclone affected people in spite of personal hardship. A sum of Rs.7.25 lakhs was released for the employees of all the user departments and two nos of tractor mounted water tankers costing Rs.10.25 lakhs will be provided to Ganjam Police and 8th Bn.,Chhatrapur to mitigate drinking water problem.
