REVIEW OF PROGRESS OF VARIOUS SECTIONS BY CMD

1. CMD reviewed the progress of various sections with the Heads of Sections on 1.6.2016. The meeting was attended by the Chief Engineer,G.M.(Tech)-cum-S.E., both DGMs , Financial Advisor/Company Secretary/Chartered Accountant / Jt.Manager (Elect.) / Monitoring and S.O. (Establishment ). The modalities and the Agenda Notes for upcoming Board Meeting were deliberated for preparation of same by 10.06.2016.

2. Training programmes for various officers of OSPH&WC for outside State in 2016-17 were finalized which will be uploaded subsequently by the DGM(Admn.). However, the officers shall leave for training only after receipt of joining instructions from the concerned Training Institutions as well as after receipt of permission for such training from Head Office.

1. Raising Day of OSPH&WC was observed on 24.5.2016 for the first time in the history of OSPH&WC which was set up on 24.5.1980. Outstanding Achievers of the Corporation were felicitated along-with prominent retired employees of the Corporation. Raising Day function was attended by all senior officers and staff of Headquarters along-with joint Managers of Cuttack,Angul,Berhampur and Electrical Divisions.

CMD reviewed progress of work of tender/estimate/monitoring/establishment/finance sections with senior officers of OSPH&WC. All senior officers were instructed to carry out the instructions/observations within the scheduled time frame. The meeting was attended by Sri A.K.Panigrahi, Chief Engineer(Civil), Sri R.B.Swain, G.M.(Tech)-cum-S.E.,Sri B.B.Khalko,Financial Advisor, Sri R.S.Patanaik,Dy.General Manager(Engg.) 1. CMD visited sites of ongoing projects of Ganjam district on 1.5.2016 and 2.5.2016 and held review meetings with IG of Police, Southern Range, Berhampur/SP, Ganjam / Commandant, 8th Bn. OSAP, Chhatrapur and reviewed work of Berhampur Divisional Office.

2. Chief Engineer of OSPH&WC visited sites of two Marine police Stations of Puri district as well as other ongoing projects of Puri district. Earlier, he visited sites of Marine Police Stations of Balasore and Bhadrak districts.

Another round of co-ordination meeting with all Jt.Managers and field staff on ERP-SAP matter was conducted in the Corporate office of OSPH&WC on 27.04.2016. It was emphasized by CMD to all concerned to remove the bottlenecks in the system and start implementing the system for the interest of the organisation.
